Alliances
We are pleased to work with Edmonton's finest pet
agencies and services. Here's a little information on some of our most
important alliances.
|

|
The Edmonton Humane Society (Edmonton SPCA) was founded in 1910 and has been an active
member of the community ever since. Its focus today is on animal
adoption, humane treatment of animals in the city, and education
programs to improve the quality of life for pets in
Edmonton. Please take a moment to
visit
their website. We fully support the work of the Edmonton
Humane Society.
To help promote the adoption of the wonderful dogs that find
their ways to the community's pet agencies, we will provide the
first wash free to anyone bringing in a dog they have
adopted through an accredited agency. Contact us for details!

NASAP
(Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection)

|
We are proud to be in alliance with NASAP. NASAP's charter is
to promote the right to life for all animals. The society responds
to requests from other groups who have dogs who will be put down
if not adopted. NASAP brings these pets to a sheltered environment
and provides them with the necessities of life while members
search for a good home. Please visit their website
for more information and for profiles on dogs available for
adoption.

Western Guide and Assistance Guide
Dog Society
|
Our Mission
The mission of the Society is to increase the mobility
and independence of persons with disabilities and enhance their quality
of life, by providing highly skilled guide dogs and/or assistance dogs
with professional in-home and continual support.
Our Goals
To train and graduate qualified guide and assistance
dogs yearly and raise our annual financial requirement to enable us to
meet this expectation. To enrich someone's life by helping them to
become more independent, enhancing their ability to contribute to the
community through jobs, education and volunteer work by providing them
with a fully trained guide/assistance dog. As a charitable, not for
profit society, we rely on private and corporate donations to fund our
work. We are a registered charity #BN88867 7234 RR0001. |
